Richard Cryan - fiddle, mandolin, guitar & vocals
Jan Lawrence - whistles, mandolin & vocals
Neil Rogers - guitar, bass guitar & vocals
Neil, Jan & Richard have been playing together in various formations since 1985, some pursuing their interest in playing for tradional dance, and some their enjoyment of harmony singing. Spootiskerry, formed in 1993, brings these strands together.
The photograph shows Spootiskerry at the 2009 Coppetts Wood Festival; more photos of the band on the Barnet Folk Club web site.

Call it a Ceilidh, a Barn Dance or Folk-dance: it's an evening of (mainly) traditional dances to (mainly) traditional tunes, and it's what Dancing Bear does.
